SEK Multi County Health Department in Allen County (Iola) has an opening for a Regional Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coordinator/HIPAA & Safety Officer.
Seeking an independently motivated individual with excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills to provide public health emergency preparedness coordination for our 4 local health departments (Allen, Anderson, Bourbon, Woodson) as well as fill the position of our HIPAA and Safety Officer. The individual will also be assisting with policy writing and planning/outreach.
Preferred Skills/Training/Experience: Emergency Preparedness or Management, ICS Training, Grant Writing/Management.
Required: High School Diploma or GED, Active Driver's License.
This is a full-time position, 7 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Thursday. Benefits include, but are not limited to 13 paid holidays; accrual of 10 hours of vacation leave monthly; accrual of 10 hours of sick leave monthly; health/dental/vision insurance; mileage reimbursement; cell phone stipend; KPERS retirement; and a set schedule.
