Support the development and maintenance of local all-hazard emergency planning with communities and partner agencies in accordance with KAR 56-2-2, KSA 48-929, KSA 65-5701 and the Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act (EPCRA). Guide the development and implementation of an effective county-wide emergency planning system focused on the county’s ability to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from all-hazard disasters. Support local planning efforts for all of Sedgwick County’s communities and local partner agencies. This position will also serve as the on-call duty officer on a rotating schedule.
