The Kansas Emergency Management Association (KEMA) is a not for profit organization made up of Emergency Managers and Emergency Professionals from the 105 counties across the state of Kansas plus personnel from state, federal, and volunteer agencies. KEMA has more than 240 active members and in the last several years, conference attendance has exceeded 200 attendees.

Many KEMA members are in charge of purchasing various pieces of emergency equipment, tools, warning systems, and other related services for their jurisdictions. Like in years past, our conference will give you an opportunity to display your product or service to these individuals, interact with them, and assist them in making informed purchase decisions.

Your presence as an exhibitor is a vital support for our organization and allows our members to keep current with the products available to them in their profession. We hope that you will continue to participate with us in 2021.

At our new location at the Kansas Star Event Center in Mulvane, Kansas, we are able to have all exhibitors, vehicles, and equipment in one large space to maximize traffic flow for our exhibitors. The exhibit hall will open on Wednesday, September 15 at 10 am and will run until around 1:00 pm on Thursday, Sept. 16. The breaks and lunch for the conference attendees will take place in the exhibit hall, giving the attendees ample time to visit with the vendors.

We will offer a four-tiered sponsorship program that you may choose to utilize along with different sized booth options. Booth space is available on a first come first serve basis and booths are assigned once payment is received. Register early for the best spots!

For 2021, booths will now be located inside the general meeting ballroom area.

On the registration form, please list your top three preferences. KEMA will try to assign your booth based on your preferences, but we also consider sponsorship levels, competing companies, and other factors. Thanks for your understanding.


Registration must be completed online at the link below.  Online and check payment options are available. Registration is accepted on a first come, first serve basis and booths will not be assigned until payment is received.

Booth Rates

  • Booth – 10’x10’ booth space - $350
  • Large Booth – 10’x20’ booth space - $650
  • Vehicle/Equipment Booth – 20’x20’ booth space - $750
Standard booth spaces include 1 table, and large booths include 2 tables. A vehicle/equipment booth includes 1 table. All booths include two chairs, electricity, and wifi.

The exhibit fee also includes: two lunch tickets for staff on Wednesday and Thursday and two tickets for the Wednesday Vendor Night Reception.

Additional meal tickets can be purchased for $50 per person to include lunch both days. Thursday banquet tickets are not included, but are available at a cost of $45 each.


  • August 15 - Sponsorships and payments are due.
  • August 16 - All booth prices go up by $100.
  • August 31 - Final registration and payment deadline for all booths.

Breaks and lunch on Wednesday and Thursday will be held in the exhibit hall along with the exhibitor reception Wednesday night. These will be peak times that attendees will visit the exhibit hall and visit your booths.

Conference Refund Policy

KEMA conference cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing to the KEMA Vendor Liaison.  Telephone requests will not be honored.

Full Refunds – More than 30 Days Notice- in order to receive a full refund, written requests must be received no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the conference.

50% Refunds – Less than 30 Days Notice- Written requests for refunds  received less than 30 days prior to the first day of the conference will be subject to a 50% refund.

No Refunds – Within 2 Weeks

No refunds will be granted for written requests received within two weeks of the first day of the conference.

Hotel Reservations

The host hotel is the Hampton Inn & Suites.  See our hotel page for complete details (once they are available).

Liability Statement

The vendor, upon submitting a registration, agrees they will be fully responsible to pay for any and all damages to property owned by the hotel, their owners or managers, which results from any act or omission of vendor. Vendor agrees to hold harmless KEMA, its members, directors and representatives, from any and all claims of injury, loss or damage that may occur to the vendor, the vendor’s employees, or the vendor’s property from any cause whatsoever.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Gold Sponsorship - $1000


  • Logo displayed on conference event page with link to company website
  • Company/organization name and/or logo will be prominently displayed on the conference materials, such as agendas, banners, signs, programs, etc.
  • Listed as a sponsor of the Tuesday night meal, hospitality room, and breaks
  • Gold Sponsor designation sign at your booth

Silver Sponsorship - $750


  • Logo displayed on conference event page with link to company website
  • Listed as a sponsor of the Tuesday night meal or the hospitality room (not both) and the breaks
  • Listed on all conference materials such as agendas, banners, programs, etc.
  • Silver Sponsor designation sign at your booth

Bronze Sponsorship - $500


  • Logo displayed on conference event page with link to company website
  • Listed as a sponsor of the breaks and listed on the conference agendas
  • Bronze Sponsor designation sign at your booth

Friend of KEMA - $250


  • Logo displayed on conference event website page with link to company website
  • Listed as a supporter of the breaks


The printing deadline for sponsorship materials is August 15, 2021. To have your name included as a sponsor, you must register and pay online no later than August 15.
